51 Degrees North (sometimes stylized as 51° North) is a 2015 science fiction film written and directed by Grigorij Richters and starring Moritz von Zeddelmann, Steve Nallon, Jamie Doyle, Dolly-Ann Osterloh and Steven Cree. The film is visually presented as found footage shot from the perspective of various video recording devices, primarily from a hand-held camcorder operated by the main characters and from CCTV cameras and Social Media. The original soundtrack was composed by Queen and Brian May.
Grig Richters has been collaborating with QUEEN guitarist Brian May for several years on multiple projects. He has been developing the selfie-stick with May and processing the videos from all the QUEEN + Adam Lambert tours. Richters also directed several short films including a film about the tour's rehearsal.

Films United founder Grig Richters was Kevin Spacey‘s filmmaker-in-residence at The Old Vic theatre in London for several years. During that time they worked on many projects together. Grig also managed many parts of his social media presence, especially his YouTube channel.
SAVE ME is Brian May's animal charity. Grig Richters has created several films for the charity over the years. This particular film ran as a short film on Discovery Channel.

Stephen Sutton was one of the most inspirational teenagers. He passed away after fighting cancer and raising Millions for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Grig Richters met him a year before he passed away. At the time Stephen had a small social media following. Grig and his team, created a media strategy for him, handled his PR and followed him around with a film crew for several months.
Films United has been based at Vodafone’s innovation centre, Tomorrow Street, since early 2018. We are currently developing several film and digital media projects.
